Seed IP Law Group is ranked in ten categories in the just released 2025 edition of "Top Patent Firms," as published by Juristat, Inc. To qualify for inclusion, a firm must have filed or disposed of a minimum of 100 applications during the specified time period. This provides a dataset of an appropriate size to evaluate performance metrics. (Previous iterations of the rankings set the threshold at 50 applications per year in the specific technology center. For 2025, Juristat expanded its analysis beyond the technology center and, to maintain rankings' significance, increased the qualifying number to 100 patents.)

Juristat's rankings consider both volume and performance. The awards are based on how well a firm performed over a 12-month period.

The 2025 list (and all past iterations) is powered by Juristat's database of more than 10 million patent applications at the USPTO. Their database includes global and foreign law firms to the extent they prosecute applications under their own name in the United States. Many foreign firms choose to file applications through another U.S. firm and may not be included in this analysis.
