Nathan Lee is a seasoned patent attorney with a multidisciplinary background in electrical engineering, computer science, and law. His practice bridges complex technical innovation with nuanced legal strategy, particularly in high-tech sectors. With international legal experience and a deep understanding of global patent systems, Nathan delivers practical, business-focused solutions in an increasingly interconnected IP landscape.

Nathan brings over a decade of experience in intellectual property law, advising cutting-edge companies across industries such as telecommunications, semiconductors, software, artificial intelligence, medical devices, and advanced display technologies. His practice covers the full spectrum of the IP lifecycle, including patent drafting and prosecution, strategic portfolio development, freedom-to-operate assessments, and competitive landscape analysis.

He regularly advises clients on patent licensing and technology transactions, helping them maximize the commercial value of their intellectual property. Nathan also supports patent litigation, providing technical analysis and strategic guidance on issues of validity, infringement, and enforcement. Nathan’s experience includes prosecuting patent applications related to telecommunications, displays, semiconductors, computer software, and medical devices.

Prior to joining Seed IP, Nathan worked for 8 years as a patent attorney at the Korean law firm of Kim & Chang. Here he drafted numerous patent applications and Office Action responses. Nathan also counseled domestic and foreign clients on Korean intellectual property system and patent filing strategies. He also prepared patent landscape analysis reports for semiconductor companies. Nathan also drafted briefs and presented arguments on invalidity cases before Korean Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
