Kerry A. Shamnoski
Kerry focuses her practice on intellectual property matters across numerous industries. In 2022, she earned a B.S. in the Integrated Degree of Engineering, Arts, and Science (IDEAS), an interdisciplinary program that emphasized the importance of a holistic approach to technology and innovation through both engineering and the humanities. Accordingly, she concentrated in mechanical engineering and bioengineering, and her senior thesis was on the engineering mistakes and ethical considerations of several engineering disasters within the mechanical and biological fields.
Kerry received her J.D. from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in 2025.
Kerry has experience with patent procurement in a variety of industries, including biotechnology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, medical devices, and semiconductors.
During law school, she was a senior editor and notes editor for IDEA: The Law Review of the Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property. Here, she did extensive research and wrote a note on the impact of 35 USC 101 and its interpretation on the video game industry. Kerry was also a student attorney in the International Technology Transfer Clinic where she prepared a patent landscape report on Chagas-vaccine related technology globally.
