Seed IP partner Russell Pangborn is scheduled to attend the upcoming ICANN82 Community Forum, taking place in Seed IP’s home city, Seattle, WA, from March 8-13.

ICANN is charged with ensuring a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. The Seattle Community Forum is ICANN’s first meeting of 2025 where ICANN Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees come together in furtherance of various Internet policy initiatives. Mr. Pangborn will be attending as a member of the Intellectual Property Constituency (IPC) and engaging the ICANN community on behalf of IP interests in online environs, ranging from domain name security threats and online rights protections to balancing reasonable access to registrant data with appropriate data privacy. The community will also be progressing toward next round of new gTLDs (coming soon).
