Seed IP’s Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Group proudly welcomes associate Jeong Hee Seo. Jeong Hee focuses his practice on patent prosecution in electrical engineering and computer-related matters. He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (2007), and his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law (2018).

Jeong Hee performed patent prosecution related to a broad range of technologies, including semiconductor fabrication equipment, biometric devices, network devices, business methods, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technologies, application software, and cosmetic sheets. Prior to joining Seed IP, he worked as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and he served as a patent agent at SunYoung International Patent and Law Firm in Seoul, South Korea. Jeong Hee also worked for four years as a technical product support engineer at Applied Materials, Inc. in Santa Clara, CA.

Jeong Hee is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the Washington State Patent Law Association.
