Seed IP Law Group is pleased to introduce the panelists for its upcoming virtual educational panel, Discovering Careers in Patent Law and Intellectual Property, taking place on October 28 at 12:00 p.m. Pacific. Registration is open to undergraduate, graduate, business, STEM, pre-law, and law students, as well as recent graduates and early-career professionals interested in exploring the many pathways into intellectual property.

The panel brings together Seed IP professionals with experience across a range of IP practices and roles, including trademark, copyright, patent prosecution, patent litigation, patent agent and technical roles, and IP law firm operations.

There is no single pathway into intellectual property. Through their varied backgrounds and experiences, the panelists will show how different skills and interests can lead to challenging and fulfilling careers in this specialized field. These roles span law, innovation, technology, brands, creative work, and problem-solving, and offer attractive compensation opportunities. Depending on the pathway, a law or graduate degree may not be required. Attendees will learn about legal, technical, and IP law firm operations career paths, the education or training associated with different roles, transferable skills that matter in the field, and practical ways to begin exploring IP-related careers.
