Seed IP Law Group Welcomes Associate Thomas A. Shewmake

Seed IP’s Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals & Chemistry and IP Enforcement & Litigation Groups proudly welcome new associate Thomas A. Shewmake. Tom focuses his practice primarily on patent and other intellectual property litigation in a variety of technical areas and with a particular focus on biotechnology matters. He received a B.S. degree in Bioengineering from the University of California –Berkeley in 2003 and an M.S. degree in Bioengineering from Arizona State University in 2008. Tom was awarded his J.D. cum laude from the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law in 2011.

Tom is admitted to the Arizona State Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Tom is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is a member of the Washington State Patent Law Association (WSPLA) and Life Science Washington (formerly Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association).
