Five Seed IP partners participate at 2016 CASRIP Summer Institute

The Center for Advanced Study and Research on Innovation Property (CASRIP) Summer Institute offers in-depth legal education and training for U.S. and international intellectual property lawyers, patent agents, post-graduate scientists and engineers, and law students. Held annually on the campus of the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, CASRIP is a two-week intensive program that teaches the fundamentals of patent prosecution, patent litigation, and technology licensing and management, from a comparative law perspective. During the annual CASRIP Summer Institute, a special two-day program called the Global Innovation Law Summit also takes place, attracting experts from around the world who discuss cutting-edge legal issues in intellectual property law and innovation. Seed IP partners Karl R. Hermanns, Shoko I. Leek, Kevan L. Morgan, Stephen J. Rosenman, and Jeffrey M. Sakoi took part as lecturers, adjunct professors, and panelists during the 2016 CASRIP Summer Institute (July 14-July 29). A cocktail reception for all 2016 CASRIP Summer Institute and Global Innovation Law Summit participants was held the evening of July 22 at the Seed IP Law Group office.
