Seed IP is the best Seattle-based intellectual property law firm and the most highly rated small IP firm in the country, according to a survey conducted by Managing IP Magazine. "We've always prided ourselves on providing world-class IP services and being among the top patent and trademark firms in the nation," said Bill Ferron, Seed's Managing Director and CEO. "Being recognized by intellectual property attorneys around the world as the best in the Northwest, and as the best small firm in the country, validates our efforts. It's especially gratifying because this is our 40th year in the business, and we're stronger than ever."
Managing IP Magazine tabulated the results of a survey sent to 4,000 Intellectual Property law specialists in companies and private practice in more than 100 nations. Each individual was asked to nominate up to 3 firms handling IP litigation and IP counseling and protection in all jurisdictions of which they had knowledge. Seed was the only Seattle-headquartered firm to be ranked, achieving a rating of 15th in the U.S. in IP counseling and protection and 20th in IP litigation. Seed was the only firm outside the major metropolitan areas of New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, San Francisco and Boston to be ranked this highly.
"Seed really stands out in terms of quality attorneys and staff, and that's the key to our success," Ferron said. "With more than 15 Ph.D.'s and other advanced degrees, they're among the most highly qualified professionals in the world. They know the law, the technology and they get to know our clients and their businesses. For us it's all about developing these relationships and working extremely hard to represent our clients' interests." |
