BACKGROUND

Emily Wagner specializes in chemical patent matters, including U.S. and international patent procurement, and strategic management of intellectual property portfolios. She received a B.A. in Chemistry (summa cum laude) from Bowdoin College where she conducted research in the field of organometallic chemistry and was awarded the Kamerling Laboratory Award for her work in organic chemistry. Emily holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining Seed IP Law Group, Emily represented emerging growth technology companies and venture capital firms in a wide range of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, public offerings, corporate partnerships and technology licensing, as well as general corporate matters.

AFFILIATIONS

Emily is admitted to the Washington State Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She is a member of the Washington State Patent Law Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association, and the American Chemical Society.
