Eric M. Ringer specializes in domestic and foreign patent
prosecution in the fields of electrical, software, and electro-mechanical.
Eric earned his B.S. in Physics from the University of California
at Irvine and Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology.
His dissertation was a theoretical analysis of the energetics,
dynamics, and transport properties of calcium fluoride in
the superionic regime. Eric was awarded his J.D. by Georgia
State University, College of Law.
Prior to joining Seed IP Law Group, Eric prosecuted domestic and foreign patent
applications with law firms in Atlanta, Georgia. His scientific background in theoretical
physics has allowed him to prepare and prosecute patent applications in diverse fields
such as telecommunications, optics, mechanical and electronic devices, liquid crystal
display devices, lasers, and global positioning systems. Eric’s clients have ranged from
individual inventors and high-tech start ups to large international corporations
and prestigious research universities and institutions around the world.
Eric is admitted to the Washington State Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S.
Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association.
