Mary Anne Mashruwala (Patent Agent) specializes in patent matters pertaining
to biotechnology. She received her B.S. in Biology from the University of South
Carolina Honors College (2001) and her Ph.D. in the areas of Molecular Pathology
and Immunology from the University of Texas Health Science Center (2006).
Prior to joining the Seed IP Law Group, Mary Anne served as a research assistant
at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She also conducted her graduate research in
the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Texas
Health Science Center and studied T cell interactions with infected macrophages
in a tuberculosis model. Mary Anne has co-authored several research papers that
have been published in peer-reviewed journals.
Mary Anne is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Her professional affiliations include the Washington State Patent Law Association
and the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association.
