Qing (Becky) Lin specializes in biotechnology patent matters, including U.S. and international patent prosecution and strategic planning of patent portfolios. She received her J.D. with honors at the University of Washington (2000), and was an editor for the University of Washington Law Review.

Becky's professional background in cell biology, plant physiology and molecular biology includes 15 years of research and study. She earned a B.S. in Cell Biology at Lanzhou University (1986), an M.S. in Plant Physiology at The Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences (1989), and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at the University of Missouri-Columbia (1996) where she was awarded a Molecular Biology Fellowship. She also conducted post-doctoral research at the University of Missouri-Columbia and has authored many research articles and presented seminars in areas of plant signal transduction.

Becky is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Washington Biomedical and Biotechnology Association. Becky is admitted to the Washington State Bar (2000) and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Becky is fluent in Mandarin.
