Hayley specializes in patent preparation and prosecution of technologies associated with electrical engineering. Her expertise also includes trademark prosecution and copyright matters. Hayley received a B.S. (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida (2004). She was awarded her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law (2008).

Hayley focuses her practice on intellectual property matters including U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, licensing, validity and infringement studies, and opinions - with a focus on electronics, electro-mechanical devices, and semiconductor manufacturing and operation. In addition, her practice also includes the registration and enforcement of trademarks and copyrights. Hayley has been with Seed IP for nearly a decade - beginning as a law clerk in 2007, then associate, and now as partner of the firm.
Hayley is admitted to the Washington State Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She is a member of the Washington State Patent Law Association and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.
